Join Pat at 3:00pm at the Second Spring Arts Festival for an interactive dance experience. Pat has over 30 years of experience teaching dance, including at the Fred Astaire Teaching Ballroom in the 1960’s. She has taught all levels and a variety of classes – clogging, swing, country two-step, partner waltz, and partner cha-cha. She has worked for Winston-Salem Parks & Recreation for 25 years and currently works with South Fork Recreation, Old Town Recreation, King Recreation, and Surry County Community College. She teaches children and adults and dances five days a week for four-five hours daily! Pat says that “dancing is the #1 form of exercise for the body and keeps the brain healthy”.
